In its latest survey* of secure web sites, Internet research and analysis authority Netcraft (http://www.netcraft.com) reports it detected GeoTrust SSL certificates securing over 2,800 more sites in June than in May, more than any other provider. SSL certificates secure sensitive information passing over public networks such as the Internet.

GeoTrust continues to gain share in the U.S., the largest market for digital certificates. However, according to the Netcraft survey, GeoTrust is gaining at an even more rapid rate in other key markets, including Japan and major European countries, as the GeoTrust brand becomes widely recognized throughout the world. For example, the company has almost doubled its share of the Japanese market in the past 12 months and gone from just five percent of the German market in mid-2004 to 30 percent today.
